Excellent tool to locate phone with live tracking. Locking and wiping data from the phone and sim card options are a bonus. Free as well! For a small monthly fee you can get all sorts of features that might be handy - 'fencing' on your child's phone for example. It locates much faster than your phone suppliers tool.
It's a good program but does need a bit more accuracy. I did notice that it showed the last place it was, as where it was now, while it was tracking which can confuse you as to where the phone really is.... but overall, it's a good app, great price but which the tracking was a bit more thought out and wasn't misleading while tracking. Also breadcrumbs is a good feature but when you click back more it doesn't show intermittent periods of time and shows all and is a bit confusing...
Definitely not free. These slight-of-hand sneaky pay deals really annoy me, enough to rate this one star. Free if you pay monthly! If it's a good app I have no problem paying once, not for the rest of my life.
Have never had any trouble with this. Has been very accurate on all phones I have owned since Froyo (2.2).I work with and modify OS on android phones and tablets as well. For those having trouble uninstalling, you have go into settings -> security -> Device Administrators and uncheck it. Only then can you uninstall it. Also, if you keep it, log in to your account on the web and then tell Seekdoid to hide the app. That way, no one knows you have it unless they look in the Apps list under settings. Keep up the great work Seekdroid!
It's a good program, but needs more accuracy and more features. Don't bother with the paid version, I'm cancelling my subscription. The automatic email if the phone goes outside a "fence" doesn't work, and the "support" is non-existent - I got an auto reply email telling me to look in the FAQ/KB, which I already did. No recent updates, appears this is an orphan app with no support and people just hoping to collect money.
Awesome app! Left my phone in a public part of the mall. Realized it an hour after the mall had closed. Tracked the phone, found it was in the Mall Security office, so I didn't have to worry about someone having taken it home. Went the next morning to Mall Security and retrieved my phone. Gave me a good night's sleep knowing my phone was locked up and secured even though I had lost it.
