Ever since I've been made aware of LocalSend, it has proven its worth time and time again. Before I'd upload a file to my OneDrive then pull it down on whatever device I needed it on, then delete it. This saves so much more time and removes the unnecessary cloud upload. I think one extra thing I'd like here is the ability to have it in my quick settings tiles to just replace the spot where I have quick share, but even as it stands it's amazing!

The user interface is easy enough, but unfortunately, this app does not perform post-transfer SHA hash checking, like TeraCopy has, to verify the integrity of the destination file. I'm trying to find an app that will do this automatically, so that when I transfer files between a Windows PC and an Android phone or tablet, I can be confident that the file didn't get corrupted, an all-too-common problem with the MTP transfer protocol, especially on large files.

Great file-sharing between devices and even across operating systems and platforms. I'm sending music files from my Mac to my Windows PC to my Pixel with (nearly) no problem. You may have to do a little troubleshooting with networking as some of my devices weren't being recognised by others and vice versa. After that though, it's smooth sailing.
