Ratings and reviews

Completely useless app that keeps crashing. The "solution" to make it not crash is to completely change the way I use my phone. The developers refuse to acknowledge they are the problem, even though (1) none of the other HSBC apps for other countries have the same issues and (2) there is a flood of feedback on Play store and other forums telling them how their rationales and workarounds don't make sense. Terrible experience.

Change a new phone and unable to sign in, prompt to uninstall the existing app first. Once uninstalled, new phone still unable to login and keep asking to enter login and enter security code, which is not possible to generate at all, since there the app is unable to setup. This is the worst banking app I ever seen, other bank app have been able to setup seamlessly. Call center even worse, keep listening to lengthy ads and no one answer...sigh

Have been fine using this app all these years, but suddenly, it refuses to proceed to the login screen, saying that my paid version of McAfee Security is a threat. Now i don't know if i should give up McAfee or HSBC. Thanks for your reply. I will disable Accessibility permission to McAfee when using HSBC app and find out more. Meanwhile i have changed my rating to 4 stars.

What's new

Money Lock - You can now increase the amount of locked funds via the app. Safely lock away funds in local and foreign currencies while continuing to earn interest, where applicable.
