ViolinCello is text only. No pictures of any kind, not even website logos. For long blocks of text, this could be a relief, especially to get away from auto-playing video. But, often I like pictures. I'll keep this. At times it could be truly useful. Although, seems like the only way to get Dark Mode, which I need for early cataracts and also to prevent seizures, is to pay for Premium. 99 cents for lifetime, but still... Accessibility Issue! Search engine I set will not complete search, useless.

Just what I wanted, a text based browser for the web. The app seems stable and works well. There are some things I would like to see in the future: the ability for multiple tabs to open, the ability to add custom search engines, and a a single "dark mode" available for all users. I want this on F-droid. Overall, I'm really happy with the potential offered here. The dev did a good job and I'll be glad to throw a donation at them once I use the app abit more. It needs more polish, but good start!

TracFone users will love this because it uses probably 75% less data then Firefox or Google Chrome. What separates us from other text browsers, is the way that it formats what you see on screen. UPDATE BUG! Can no longer exit. I use this to read articles in (Stock Futures) that lead to other web links. When I hit the Phone exit arrow, Viol used to return me to the original app. Now it exits me from both. Please put an (Exit icon) in your menu so I can leave your browser & Return to App
