Ratings and reviews

Good, but locks most of decent stuff until you sign up for the payment plan. Also the share price they display is so delayed it may aswell show last week's prices hopefully that will improve very soon. Overall, the app is good but needs improvements. The ease of use is excellent if you're starting out but wouldn't pay for an account until basic issues like share price updates have been corrected as you get on other trading platforms.

This app is fluid, intuitive and does a great job handling orders. However, before I start investing serious money with Freetrade I want a Web version. If I lose my phone, the fact all my info and the only way to access my account is gone really worries me. I'd have to presumably buy another phone before i could access my funds again. Why they haven't sorted out their Website after years of it being locked away as a beta for the top payers I don't know but it's limiting how I use their service.

The service is basic & good value but the app needs work. It is glitchy when trying to trade, often takes two attempts to get the Buy/Sell screen to load properly. You can't view the Contract Notes properly in Activity if you have Dark Mode enabled. Support have been aware of this for ages! The lack of limit options on European shares is disappointing. Having to use the awful chat bot for things that a simple form would be better for (like named beneficiaries) is a terrible user experience.
