Designed for BMW ChargeForward participants, the ChargeForward app lets participants take control of their charging with the option to always Charge Immediately, to view your vehicle’s charging status, view and set your departure time settings, and view your monthly rewards and reward history, if applicable. Must have an active BMW ChargeForward account to access.

This thing is a buggy mess. Charging just gets set on an arbitrary timer and you can't change it. UI just snaps back changes and creates random schedule entries you can't change. This isn't even a beta, it's an alpha. Also, there's no real optimizing. it just sets a schedule and doesn't charge until then, regardless of when that is.

Good idea, but doesn't work. Incentives are very sporadic and hard to predict when they will be given (either Minimize My Cost or Maximize My Energy Use). They seem to be issued at random, one out of ten times. App opens only opens on my old phone.

The button to charge immediately (ie. turn off optimized charging) didn't work. The app is stuck on restricted charging. I tried tinkering with the scheduled departure time and that didn't work. If this issue continues will likely disenroll from program.
