I give up. The designers meant well and I believe the user interface I well designed. But the technical problems make this app unusable. NFC reader works fine the first time to change the transport PIN to the 6 digit personal PIN but already the next attempt to see what data is stored on the card reliably fails. I spent 20 minutes turning and flipping the card (no case). 9/10 times, I get no reaction. If I'm lucky, I get stuck in the "weak signal loop". Sorry devs, but this ain't working.

The quintessential disaster app! I actually like the interface simplicity, but the app is just not reliable. I use it to log into government services with bundID, but it keeps getting stuck after the first authentication. If for some reason a bund website asks you to re-authenticate, the app won't connect to the paired device anymore. You'll keep going around in circles. Very bad integration with bund services overall and yet another example of poorly spent tax money!

Of course doesn't work. It's supposed to support all EU E-id cards but doesn't read mine. PS: I have been using the Italian equivalent since 2019 and it works like a charm 😉 Go see how the SielteId works for example and just copy it, the German government incapacity of making anything digital and simple is infuriating.
