Update to my previous review: Nine months later, and a lot of the bugs have been resolved. The flow of the user-interface has improved as well. Still a couple of bugs there, but it's definitely getting better. March 24, 2023: Clunky UI, not very intuitive, reported bugs don't get any attention.

Installed update. UI still difficult to use. E.g. trying to filter climbing routes for Joshua Tree by grade is almost impossible, since the slider is very hard to set to a particular grade. Also, if I recall correctly the previous version allowed filtering by both sun and shade. Now i can only filter bu sun. No way to find climbs that are in the shade at a particular time of day. Filtering is what I use the app for, everything else is much easier in either printed book or mountain project

Hi Andreas, you can filter on either sun or shade. Just tap on "Sun" and it's a "Spinner" control you can change. I've modified this in our most recent release to make the choice more obvious.
Anything about the UI that you find difficult to use, if you're willing to take the time to write us at support@rakkup.com we'd really love the feedback.

Awesome tool for any climber. The GPS is invaluable for getting to far-away crags from the trailhead. It isn't always SUPER accurate, but it is close enough to where it will DEF help get you to the crag you're looking for. Occasionally there are issues with the app, but support is VERY fast at responding to get them remedied. Lots of guide books available for major crags both in and outside the US, excellent photos, great reviews, ratings, etc. And it's really nice to NOT have to carry a guide book.
