π The word Sudoku originates from the Japanese phrase "ζ°εγ―η¬θΊ«γ«ιγ", meaning βeach number must stand alone.β
π The game is played on a 9 Γ 9 grid, consisting of 81 cells to be filled with digits 1 through 9.
π Each row and column must contain all digits from 1 to 9, without repetition. The order does not matter, but every digit must appear exactly once.
π The sum of the digits in each row or column is 45 (1 + 2 + ... + 9 = 45).
π The grid is divided into nine 3Γ3 sub-grids, each of which must also contain all digits from 1 to 9, summing to 45.
