Puzzle is a third place in Thionville, distinct from the first place (home) and the second place (work/school). Perfectly integrated into the city, it is a space for sharing among residents. It offers a multitude of activities and projects focused on culture, arts, knowledge, and digital technology.

After studying at the Rouen School of Fine Arts, J.C. Mattrat worked successively in a printing house, a photoengraver, an advertising agency, and more. He worked until the late 1980s as a press cartoonist and illustrator for various newspapers.
Using exclusively screen printing, his work is presented in series, collected in the form of portfolios or books.
From 1998 to 2002, he signed his works using four pen names or aliases4 "synonyms": Claire Villaneau, Pierre Bossuet, Franck Grignoire and Luc Roux, names composed of the first names of his brothers and sisters as well as the names of his paternal and maternal grandparents.
