The countdown features the 'calendar days' until you retire (week days) as well as the actual 'in-class days' (work days) until you are free; thereby providing you with an accurate perspective. To determine the 'work days' the app automatically excludes the summer vacation, weekends, and holidays within a given year.
The app also features a 'bucket list' where you can drop ideas and reminders. Eg. include a list of towns you may like to retire to. Or remind yourself to purchase a medical plan. Are you going to supply teach? Did you declare your intent to retire?
Share your results with your friends and colleagues!
