About this app
This free app provides official events and news from Neuchâtel's public and semi-public authorities. It is primarily aimed at Neuchâtel residents, tourists, and anyone interested in current events in the canton and its municipalities. It provides a simple, quick, and efficient way to stay informed on topics such as politics, culture, sports, mobility, security, education, and local life. It also provides alerts in the event of a health or safety risk.
CULTUROSCOPE
Thanks to the integration of Culturoscope (event publication), the app now offers centralized access to the cultural calendar of the Canton of Neuchâtel, allowing users to easily discover upcoming events, exhibitions, shows, and demonstrations.
NEWS MANAGEMENT
You can create your own news feed by selecting the news sources you want (canton, municipalities, etc.) and the desired topics from the following list: culture, education, events, mobility, politics, security, society, sports, and everyday life. By default, all sources ("broadcasters") and topics are enabled. You can disable them at any time. Unwanted broadcasters and topics will then no longer appear in the news feed. You can also designate your most popular news. Information published on Nemo News can be shared on major social networks.
NOTIFICATIONS
By enabling push notifications, you will receive regular notifications informing you when news is published on your feed. Notifications are enabled by default. You can disable them at any time for certain broadcasters and topics; their publications will still appear in the news feed, but without being pushed.
ALERTS
Priority alerts can be sent to the entire population via Nemo News. In this case, it is not possible to disable notifications related to these alerts, which will be sent to all people who have downloaded the application and who agreed to receive notifications when first using Nemo News.
