Ratings and reviews

I do not have an iPhone. I am sure the app would work better if I did. I am only using Apple Music because I got a deal long ago that allows me to have premium for free forever. I frequently consider paying anyway to switch to spotify, as this is one of the worst apps I've seen. It crashes constantly. Lately, I can't add songs to playlists without the app bugging out. It's a barely functional and extremely frustrating app, and if it isn't free for you, don't bother.

I have to repeatedly uninstall and download the app over and over again because every once in a while entire artists or albums will become "unavailable" for no reason at all. But then once I uninstall and re-download it, suddenly they're "available" again. Edit to apple: this happens to artists in my library, yes.

For the most part this is the best app with lossless options, if Spotify offers similar quality when that plan comes out I will be switching back. Because there are some stupid things with no fix (the ability to download ALL songs within the app). There are also straight up problems, occasionally as a song ends it will restart from a random spot in the middle, sometimes when switching between playback in the car to a headset that is already connected the app will refuse to switch to the headset.
