I purchased the rain point system about a month to 2 months ago. All of a sudden today the app does not work and I cannot access my devices to control them via the app. Luckily, I set up voice control so I am able to activate the valves that way. I'm very disappointed because this system worked so well when the app was working. Hopefully the company will issue a fix soon.

Rainpoint is the digital therapist for my plumbing. ​It seamlessly turns my water on/off, preventing the burst pipe disaster that would cost tens of thousands of Rand. The temperature sensors track my fridges, screaming a warning before stock melts down. ​New app updates (signal strength, connection time) are pure nerdy satisfaction. ​Five stars. It saves my pipes, my food, and my sanity. Worth every Rand.

The RainPoint Home app is working normally. I have the Ethernet RainPoint gateway, so the gateway is connected directly to my router by Ethernet cable. No 2.4Ghz Wifi is used in this configuration. The 433Mhz frequency used to communicate from the gateway to the timers has good range. I have four timers with a total of six zones. I can schedule watering times in the app and the plants are watered at the correct time. All is good!
