Downloaded the app to work with the iDOO Smart Bloom 8. Hit register and set up an account without an issue. However, once in the app, I couldn't add a device. Kept getting prompted to ask the owner to add permissions to modify the home. In app faq didn't help, and it turns out there's no support site. The gennec domain is for sale on godaddy as of this writing. I hope this isn't an account phishing situation. Incidentally, I opened the smartlife app for an unrelated product and it worked.

After several resets and restarts and reinstalls it still cannot connect to the doorbell. My router says it's online, the doorbell says it's online. Funny the app had no trouble connecting to Facebook and Google. Worked great uploading logs and analytical data. Just missed that video part. I understand it's how these Chinese electronics are, but put a little more focus on making it do what it's supposed to and less on backdoors, ads and user data.

I had high hopes for this app. Want to take blood pressure reading with the smart monitor but alas, it will not stay connect nor does it transfer all data from machint to app. Rarely do I get the Diastolic input and usually have to put it in myself. Really, I could do that with pen and paper. It also does not work well with the Renpho app.
