I am from U.S. Unable to book trips using the app. Have to go to the website to book; The app doesn't tell you whether or not you can book the trip or if trains are full. No phone number to call, but email help is responsive. Booking trip2 Hamburg, Germany, app doesn't tell you if trains are full. When you pay for seatreservations, you have to re-enter all billing information again; after you've already done it paying for Eurail (this is redundant). I am still optimistic and may change to 3*

Dear customer, thank you for your feedback. We are aware that in the app, it is currently not possible to book seats directly or check availability unless reservations are required. We are actively working on enhancing this feature.

The app regularly redirects to the website, which frequently doesn't work well, and isn't fully compatibile with the app - trips created on one don't always transfer to the other. The app also didn't work properly with the paper pass that I bought through Renfe, which was extremely confusing. It also regularly recommends exchanges between trains of only a few minutes, without providing other options that will actually be possible in the event that the first of the trains is delayed.

The app is very unintuitive and too complex; especially the seat reservations. First you must navigate the confusing UI, select a train, then add it to your journey/pass + activate it- not easy. Then, for trains requiring seat reservations (extra $€), stupidily, you cannot book these in app. It takes you to the eurorail website where you cannot select specific seats (like quiet area) and it once reserved seats for a different train than I had selected in app. So we got on wrong train, yikes!
