About this app

This app is designed for Wear OS and watches with LCD screens. It can help you remove afterimages (screen ghosts) from your Wear OS watch.

This Wear OS app also has its companion app for Android phone, which allows you to control the Wear OS app conveniently.

We can't guarantee 100% effect, but the combination of liquid crystal LCD restoration methods used in this app can help in many cases. The app was originally written with the Moto 360 watch in mind, but over time we have extended our algorithms to be effective on other Wear OS watch models as well. The app will only be useful if your Wear OS watch has an LCD screen. If you have a watch equipped with an OLED, AMOLED or E-ink screen, this app will not be useful for you.

Note - to remove afterimages (screen ghosts) from your Wear OS watch's display, the app tries to increase the brightness of the watch's screen to the maximum while playing the correction sequence. The main correction sequence lasts 3 minutes and puts a heavy strain on the watch's battery. Use the app only when the watch is not needed and can be plugged in for charging.

Ratings and reviews

For my watch (Google Pixel Watch 3), the app is pretty great. But it doesn't work at all on my phone, even though there's UI options in the phone app. I'd love to be able for the app to function on my phone, as well as it does on my watch, especially since it has an OLED display.

I used this to try and fix a stick pixel. It didn't work, but the app did exactly what I needed so thanks for making it!

Removed an AOD-induced retention on my Wear OS watch screen just fine. Interface is clean and it has zero ad. A rating well-deserved.
