We had to rebuild the app from the ground up. In development, we determined that currently it is not possible to scan barcodes any longer. We could not get any of the scanning software to work that existed. There are others we could try but they wanted $10k or more a year and when the app doesn't make a fraction of that we could not justify it. We are still pursuing adding back in the scanning capability.

Update Sep 2024 - started seeing error and unable to sync collection at all in mobile app, Web is working (exported collection). Dumped cache and data, re-logged in, no luck. Posted on forums. Hoping developer can fix soon. -- I've been using CBR since the 1990's when it was My Comic Pile. Been looking around for an alternative lately, but none of the other collection aps have all the features of CBR. It may be simple, but it does a great job of delivering everything you need in one app.

App is terrible and not worth the money. barcode scanner feature doesn't work, It comes up with nothing if you type in the barcode manually. You have to constantly login and out to reflect what you have in your collection after have selected comic books to add. I've uninstall and reinstalled and still nothing works.

It's great for most use cases and does what it says it does. I do love it and use it frequently as my main tool. Better than key collector. Minor criticisms: - some covers missing from their database that I cannot log, but that's uncommon. Would love to be able to add my own ad-hoc - Issue values are usually wrong and I am not able to adjust the price, which makes it so that the collection $ is incorrect and undervalued - barcode scanner UI is basic and not the best
