Just what I wanted… Almost! Within just 6 minutes, I was sold and upgraded to the Pro version. I love how I can listen to Spotify or YouTube on my Bluetooth headphones in the background while using the app, and it doesn’t mess with them or pickup their audio. One small request though: it would be AMAZING if the Pro version could include an option to set a key and scale, and maybe have the notes turn green when they land on the scale. That would take this app to the next level!

Doesn't work well at the low end. I can hold C2 to B1. But if I drop lower, then it jumps up two octives. Perhaps it is the limitation of my phone mic. I tried headsets, too. Has anyone had any luck? I just wanted to see how low I could go LOL. Pretty cool app, though. And it may just be a hardware limitation. If so, then I will change my stars. Edit: thanks to the developer for the explanation on it being a hardware limitation. Updating to five stars :)

Hi Junior, this is indeed a hardware limitation. C2 is around the lowest range supported by most smartphones currently available on the market. When you drop below C2 the app can't see the fundamental in the input signal, and it will lock onto the upper partials instead, hence the octave jump. Hope this helps.

I have used this app for years to track the pitch of my students when they are doing vocal exercises. It's useful for those with poor intonation and it's a great visual representation when students keep getting the same note or phrase wrong. I recommend this 100% (and more % if there were such a thing). The pro version is definitely worth the extra few ££ as the ability to record progress is hugely beneficial for the students.

Hi Carrie, thank you so much for the support! It is great to hear that Nail the Pitch has been helpful for your students! Also, please feel free to reach out anytime if there is anything we can do to make the app even better for you and your students.
