bought an esim for china/HK, completely doesnt work, support just ignored my messages after they ran out of steps on the runbook, so no refund or new esim - completely useless, stay away!

Be warned: these eSIMs cannot be relied upon. My eSIM (10GB for 10 days) stopped working after 4 days of use. No matter what I did (restarting phone, turning the eSIM off and on, etc.) I could not reconnect to the network. Then it started working again overnight on the last night of my trip. I was using the eSIM on a phone less than a year old. eSIM is useful as a backup if you have no other options or need to get connected in a hurry, but I think the technology still has some flaws.
