*Chime SpotMe is an optional, no fee service that requires a single deposit of $200 or more in qualifying direct deposits to the Chime Checking Account each month. All qualifying members will be allowed to overdraw their account up to $20 on debit card purchases and cash withdrawals initially, but may be later eligible for a higher limit of up to $200 or more based on member's Chime Account history, direct deposit frequency and amount, spending activity and other risk-based factors. Your limit will be displayed to you within the Chime mobile app. You will receive notice of any changes to your limit. Your limit may change at any time, at Chime's discretion. Although there are no overdraft fees, there may be out-of-network or third party fees associated with ATM transactions. SpotMe won't cover non-debit card transactions, including ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, or Chime Checkbook transactions. See Terms and Conditions.

‡Out-of-network ATM withdrawal fees may apply except at MoneyPass ATMs in a 7-Eleven, or any Allpoint or Visa Plus Alliance ATM.

^Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

Id give it 5 stars but I'm getting SO frustrated. The website says everything's fine but its not. Sometimes, like right now, I can't tap on anything in the app 🤷🏼‍♀️ I can scroll up & down the main page, but it's completely unresponsive when I tap on anything, it just stays on that page. I can't transfer money or look at my purchases, nothing. And I'm sad that you're getting rid of my paycheck! That was so convenient. I really hope it's replaced with something else soon.

You may try these steps: -Uninstall and reinstall the app. -Try to use WiFi (if on cellular data) or cellular data (if on WiFi). -Try to use a desktop browser or another mobile device. Also, please keep an eye out for updates from Chime about the MyPay product. If we can help with anything, get in touch with us in the app or at 1-844-244-6363.

Edit: Went from 5 stars down to 3 stars after the last design update. Absolutely hate the new app design. I love Chime. I get paid 2 days early and I love the automatic saving features. Their customer service is great. I love the spot me feature. It comes in handy when you need it. They will ask you for a tip, but it's optional and I've never had a spot me decrease because I didn't leave a tip. I've been with Chime a long time and it's the best banking experience I've ever had.

The app and the banking is wonderful. I love it. The customer service is not the greatest. There was unfortunatly a language barrier between myself and the Customer Reps I have talked to and a lot of misunderstanding happened. I had some issues that were not completly resolved and I had a card ordered for me that I did not need or ordered. After not getting my issues resolved, I just gave up on the phone calls and hoped for the best.

What's new

Finally, the weather seems to be getting warmer after what feels like the permafrost. I was rocking my puffer jacket up until last week, basically. We’re finally thawing! In Chime app update land, it’s always summer camp life though. We’re sitting around a bonfire, playing Wonderwall. We’re skinny dipping in the lake. And, of course, we’re smashing bugs.
