Ratings and reviews

A truly magical experience, I found this game back in 2019 while searching for more ways to immerse myself in the wizarding world. And this game did not disappoint! The story is quite engaging, and all the quizzes, mini-games, spell tracing, etc. really add to the game and keep it from just being monotone screen tapping (though they can get repetitive) I especially love taking care of magical beasts and enjoy exploring all the customization options! I'm looking forward for more, fresh content :)

The game needs more ways to gain energy/gems without just flat out paying money. It makes the game a slog and keeps the player from being able to get immersed. Instead its dreading knowing you'll almost instantly run out of energy the next task and be stuck waiting hours. Lowering the energy requirments would help so much, or at least an option to watch ads for energy would be welcomed.

The game used to be great with good progression and ability to complete "special adventures" with reasonable effort. A couple of months ago it seems like they increased the energy required to complete a task was increased by 20-25 units for all tasks. This has slowed progression through the story quite a bit and don't bother doing the "special adventures" unless you are willing to buy energy. Way to ruin a good game.
