Was my favorite app because I was able to to learn with the free option with 15 minutes a day limit; I had no problem. I also loved no ads. It was great to follow a step by step for beginners. I wasn't consistent due to responsibilities and school. But now restrictions on free option to force to pay membership it disappointing. I don't want to ask my parents for money with all the bills they still have to pay and save money. I'll be looking for another way to learn. It was nice while it lasted.

Another app that tricks you into downloading it without telling you is a subscription based app. It hides the $135 subscription fee after your 7 day free trial by including it in the "in app purchases". In app purchases is generally considered to be extras. Like gold in a game, it armor for your pet whatever. Not the monthly or annual subscription fee! That's should be address by itself, not lumped in with all the various random charges that can be applied.

I'm a beginner and so far the lessons themselves are pretty helpful, but the constant ads are so god damn annoying. Literally every 2 minutes I get them. Fine, whatever, I'd usually just brush them off, especially in mobile apps, but they pop up WHILE I'm practicing and then I just have to start the lesson I'm on all over again. I often don't care enough to write reviews, but this pissed me off to the point where I nearly snapped my strings in rage. Download if you want to break your guitar.
