This free offline Spanish dictionary explains the meaning of Spanish words. Definitions are based on Spanish Wiktionary. This is a monolingual dictionary only in Spanish, i.e. words must be entered in spanish.

You can listen to the word pronunciation, provided that voice data have been installed in your phone (Text-to-speech engine).

Ratings and reviews

Overall the Livio dictionaries are very useful because you can find all the conjugations and also go see the translation in other languages but with this one the conjugations are not available and many words are missing. I would not recommend this Spanish dictionary, you would need another app to support the missing words and functions in this one.

Not as good as French and English dictionary, but it's excellent

Compared with the English and French dictionaries from the same developer, this one simply does not have enough words in it. There are so many basic things I can't find and then it's not useful for translating from Spanish to French or English. Many times the other dictionaries have the Spanish word as a translation but it's not even linked to this one. Very disappointing! And it really has not improved over the years! You are better off using DRAE online than this.
