The Tasveer Film Festival & Market 2025 (TFFM 2025), taking place October 8–12 in Seattle and online, is the premier global platform celebrating South Asian stories and talent. As the only Oscar® qualifying South Asian film festival in the world, TFFM 2025 brings together filmmakers, industry leaders, and audiences for an immersive program of screenings, panels, live pitches, and networking opportunities. The festival and market create a vibrant space for artistic discovery, cultural exchange, and meaningful collaborations that shape the future of cinema.

Tasveer, founded in 2002, is a nonprofit organization based in Seattle and the host of Tasveer Festival.

Tasveer’s mission is to provide a platform for South Asian voices in the arts and media. We promote diversity, social justice, and equity by showcasing the stories, experiences, and perspectives of filmmakers, educators, activists, and others from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, Sri Lanka, and their diasporas worldwide. Our focus is bring attention to important issues of representation impacting the South Asian community including immigration, women's rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and more.

Tasveer Festival is our exclusive annual Oscar-qualifying film festival that showcases more than 100 films by South Asian filmmakers from all over the world. 20th Tasveer festival this year will be from Oct.7-12, 2025
