How to Take a Spin:

- Open the app to find the nearest Spin scooter or bike.
- Unlock your Spin by scanning the QR code or by entering its ID.
- Ride safely to your destination, using bike lanes where available.
- Park responsibly, avoiding pedestrian right of ways, building entrances, and wheelchair ramps.
- Provide Bluetooth permissions to connect to vehicles to capture location data in the background to send to our servers for city compliance requirements

USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION This is a very shady company. I used the bikes/scooters fairly often, and there have been multiple times within the last couple months where they steal money from my account. To clarify, they tell you your ride has ended, but continue billing you for an extra half hour. Then it's on you to deal with customer service to get your money back. Conveniently for them, there's never any issue starting a ride, but always an issue ending it as they bill you per-minute...

I'm giving up on this company. the last two times I tried to unlock a scooter, the app wouldn't register the QR code and wouldn't let me enter the code. the time before that I got massively overcharged because the app refused to acknowledge that my scooter was parked in the designated parking place. sometimes it was useful in a pinch but I've definitely wasted more time on this app than I have ever saved and yet somehow paid for more time than I was ever successful in using.

prepaid $15 to do a short ride around a park. there were a cluster of scooters parked next to a baseball field. when I returned the scooter to the same spot 10 minutes later the app wouldn't let me end my ride because apparently it was a no parking zone. there was no other obvious place to park it so had to leave the scooter and the app let my ride run until it ate the full prepaid amount. app UX is totally unintuitive and frustrating. ridiculous!
