This self-assessment quiz app accompanies the existing
(Clinical Genomics Mini-glossary) Guide app, which is also available, free, on the Google Play Store. That guide app provides a brief explanation of a few of the most frequently used terms in clinical genomics, such as "BWA", "FASTQ", "VCF" and "BED files" and that app should normally be used first.
These apps are provided by Prof Edward Tobias to help students and to accompany: (a) his series of Clinical Genomics lectures at the University of Glasgow, UK, (b) his medical genetics textbooks (including "Essential Medical Genetics" and "Medical Genetics for the MRCOG and Beyond") and (c) his website (www.essentialmedgen.com). The apps were created by Edward and Adam Tobias.
These apps are not designed for providing or replacing professional healthcare & advice. Also, the accuracy of the apps' contents cannot be guaranteed and the information should not be relied upon.

This quiz app enables users to test their knowledge of the definitions of some of the key genomics terms that are explained in the accompanying app, named Clinical Genomics Guide, by the same authors. This slightly updated version of the quiz app (for the latest Android devices), retains the previous content. The app has been installed in many countries, by students and by professionals.
