The only astronomy weather app where the cloud forecast does not work.
Can't download hours of darkness feature. I don't know if this is a phone issue or app issue. Or maybe you deleted this feature.
Thank you for keeping this app alive. Very very good work. Much appreciated.
Nice app The only things I don't like is you have to give your GPS location manually and it takes a while for the local data from the net to be downloaded, but I am allocated a certain amount of high speed internet a month when I add airtime to my phone. But it doesn't take forever to download net data when my speed slows down. Very visually pleasing. Nice graphics and awesome overview graphics. This app with its nice graphics needs to be a live TV channel. Human announcer giving forecasts, background music, etc.
Good app I really appreciate the app but the latest updates actually made it worse. Now it seems unable (most of the time) to get location from wifi or gsm cells and you cannot opt out of the alerts. It just keeps the service running in the background. Still though probably the best Android astro weather app
Now fixed! I can now download the data and see what a great app this is. It's actually better than I expected and will help me tremendously when deciding whether to set up my astro-gear for the night. Most useful app on the Play Store for the amateur astronomer! Thank you!!! ******** Earlier Comment: I really needed an app like this, but as many others have stated, it hangs on downloading whatever data it's trying to download. I imagine this to be an easy fix, if the author would only take a minute to look into it. It's probably the forcing of location via GPS when a device without GPS is being used. Why force location via GPS? Please make this optional as Google's location services already use lon/lat specs for location settings.
Hotfix to use new / backup 7Timer server. This fixes the recent cloud cover issue.
