To anyone who says it won't work. I have a Note 8. Today is Nov 10, 2017. I just did 2 buzz tests with mine using BAFX OBD2. I advise you to do a google search and type in how to buzz test with car gauge pro. Watch the 3:ish video of all the tablets on table. Works perfect. I don't need a refund. Well worth the money!!! Buzzzzzzzzz.. click click click click click click click click. For 8.99!
I wasn't impressed I bought so that I could buzz test on a ford 6.0, using an obdlink mx (which is said in description to work with). I'm not sure what is happening, but after starting test no buzz takes place. App says I should wait for test, but after waiting for 5 mins I'm left believing nothing is going to happen. Also why do I have to rescan pids every time I reconnect Bluetooth?!? I tried other self test, and only the "key on, engine running" test did anything
Cant run self tests Will not nut self test with my bafx obdII. The only reason I bought this app is for the buzz test. Cant get it to link up to run any tests. All i can get it to do is run gauges, which I could get on a free app. Will any obd scanner work with this app? Ive seen videos of people using cheaper scanners than the one i have to do tests. But it looks like ur apps been updated since those videos. Maybe your update just sucks.
Horrible user interface I didn't think the user interface could possibly get any worse, but the last update proved me wrong. It is by far the LEAST intuitive UI I've ever seen. It takes far too many steps to accomplish even the simplest tasks. The up side is that after you invest far to much time in figuring out how to use it, it does work. This could be a 4-5 star app if it was easier to use.
Pain in the a$$ to use, but got the job done This app has one of the worst user interfaces I've ever seen. On the bright side, I was able to set the CMP offset on my Chevy Tahoe without spending a fortune on a GM Tech 2. I'll still use Torque for everything else, though.
A powerful, but confusing tool I like it, and the fact that it can read the CMP on a Vortec engine so I can set a distributor without a Tech II tool, I wish it had some more two functionality. Also, it's kind of flaky as to whether or not it wants to connect to my ELM327 device. Torque Pro has no issue with the same device. Of course, Torque Pro doesn't have nearly the functionality of this
