Use the website. Plain and simple forget the phone permissions that are outrageous. The functionality of the app itself is limiting compared to the website. Also the price updates on stocks are at times horrendously delayed. Luckily they put a time stamp on the screen in tiny print to let u know that the price is from an hour ago!
The app works fine, but the requirement for phone permissions is unreasonable. Capital one, it trust app permissions I don't trust your promise not to abuse that permission. It only takes one court order that is unrelated to me to open me up to being spied on.
Works for keeping an eye on my account, but wish it had fingerprint support. I'm not bothered by the phone permission that everyone is freaking out about...I already have to trust them with my money, SSN, DOB, etc. But if it bother's people, they should just send a code via text message like every other service.
Asking for permission to use my phone is a deal breaker..... this app has never got better, only worse.
Annoying unnecessary permission requests. App won't work without them.
I'm about to transfer my investments from this to Stash. You have no reason what so ever to need to have access to making phone calls.
