Three (3) thumbs up! A very ingenious and useful tool esp for the OC within you. My life is now complete. Thanks guys!
Now working for me on ZTE Axon 7. I had to clear all storage app data to restore fresh install and proper selection of ext-SD root for access permission has app working, but extremely slow to move files to destinations on ext-SD storage. Likely a caching issue. Promising app though and I eagerly anticipate incremental refinements.
Can't get past the 'Select SD card' screen, even after selecting the SD location. Shame. EDIT: Worked with the dev and he fixed the problem ASAP. When you download this app you'll find out that you needed it all along!
After a bit of fiddling around, I finally figured it out! It is a bit confusing, but not impossible to figure out. It's a really cool concept, but I'm a little disappointed that the sorted files only have the option of going into a newly created folder and not a preexisting one of my choosing that's outside the folder I'm choosing. That's fine though; the only reason I'm bringing it down a star is because it can't handle bigger files all that well. I have a lot of game files in my SD card and I've been meaning to organize it, but I've just been too lazy, so I was happy to find this app. Usually, it'd struggle with the PSP ones I had (.iso). Sometimes the app could sort it, but sometimes it would either crash often or for some reason turn those files into jpgs. I suppose that was to be expected since they are rather large: ranging from 500 mb to 1.5 gb. What surprised me was that it'd sometimes mess up sorting the smaller files (~200 kb). Like, all my ".md" files got turned into jpgs. Thankfully, that's easily fixable, so no harm done, but srt2folder seems to be best suited to handle really small things like docs and images. Great job though, dev. This idea is real neat-o 👌
IDK why people is so retarted and dumb to make use of this great app. Good job by the dev and keep it up!
Ok so BE CAREFUL WITH THIS APP, it destroyed/wiped 630 of my mp3s, loved the app to start with tutorials a bit vague but figured it out. At first I thought I'd done something wrong so reloaded mp3s and sorted again, 3 times and everytime it looked like it worked until I went to play the mp3s, even looked in file manager and everytime all the mp3s showed as broken /missing, may work for others but just be aware you could lose precious pictures, files, music.
• Fixed creating folder with filename instead name of template
• Improve -
Now subfolder for files will be created at selected folder, instead of creating inside every folder in which files was found
