Creating songs with the AI voice is awesome. They expressed my feelings very well! However, I wasted $9 trying to use my own voice. As a singer, I know how I should sound. After hearing the AI versions, I was expecting something at least CLOSE to my singing voice. Instead, I received a horrible, electronic voice that sounded as if it was learning to sing by reading and holding certain parts. It was a disappointing electronic struggle of a human vocal impersonation. Unfortunate.

I saw an ad on Instagram, "create songs with your own voice using AI". I signed up for a 3 day trial, to create songs with my voice. Once I install Shoom and put my credit card in, I have to pay an additional $9 for lifetime license. On the top of $6.99 per week that I would pay after my trial period ends. Or else I have to erase the voice recordings that I just uploaded. Well trial period is meant to try the app, not to buy license so that I can use the app. What fine print did I miss? ,

This is evil, they don't disclose how they will charge you ahead of time, so once you're in, just like in other comments, they will charge different things with different subscriptions. You pay for weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions but if you wanna use your voice then "oops we need more money". BUT the problem is they tell you this after you record your voice and they are probably (most likely) uploading that recording to train the AI they are using, without your consent, let's flag this !
