About this app

-- AI that actually knows you. --

Most AI gives you generic answers. Kin builds a real picture of your life – your work, your relationships, your energy, your goals – and gives advice that actually fits.

50,000+ people. 5M+ conversations. One AI that actually remembers.

-- Five personal AI advisors. One shared memory. --

• Sage – Work, focus, and productivity
• Harmony – Relationships and communication
• Aura – Values, meaning, and identity
• Pulse – Body, energy, and performance
• Ember – Social confidence and connection

Every advisor shares your context. Every conversation builds on the last. The longer you use Kin, the more useful it gets.

-- The AI that remembers. --

Most AI starts fresh every session. Kin doesn't.

It holds your context across days, weeks, and months – then connects the dots you can't see yourself. You mention a difficult relationship pattern in October. In April, Kin still knows. You talk to Sage about a decision under pressure. Pulse already knows you've been sleeping badly. The connections happen. The patterns become visible.

That's not just chat. It's a system for self-improvement that actually compounds.

-- More than chat. --

• Sessions — Structured conversations that go deeper than a quick question
• Voice — Talk naturally, like a real conversation
• Journal — Guided reflection that learns from your history and helps you spot patterns
• Insights — Pattern recognition that surfaces what you can't see yourself
• Meeting prep — Show up to hard conversations sharper and more prepared

-- Built for people who operate at a high level. --

Founders making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information. MBA students navigating a compressed, intense window. Athletes who track everything about performance but nothing about mental patterns. Leaders who feel the weight of every call. People who know overthinking is costing them — and want a system that helps.

If you've tried journaling and quit, turned to ChatGPT and hit the wall of "it doesn't know you," or found self-improvement tools too passive — Kin is built for exactly that gap.

-- What makes Kin different from ChatGPT. --

ChatGPT is powerful. But it starts fresh every session. No memory. No pattern recognition. No context from the conversation you had three months ago.

Kin is built on persistent memory. It remembers your goals, your relationships, your patterns, and your decisions — and builds on them every time you open the app. The longer you use it, the more your personal context compounds into real insight. That's the difference between a capable tool and an actual advisor.

-- Private by design. --

• On-device memory — your data never leaves your phone
• End-to-end encrypted
• Your data never trains AI models
• Full export and delete control

Privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

-- Common questions. --

Is this therapy?
No. Kin is a thinking partner for high performers — not a clinical tool. If you're facing a mental health crisis, Kin will direct you to appropriate support.

Is my data private?
Yes. On-device memory means your data stays on your device. We have zero access to your conversations.

How is this different from a journal app?
Journal apps capture. Kin synthesises. It connects what you wrote in January to the pattern showing up in April. That's the gap it fills.

How is it different from a general AI assistant?
General AI assistants don't know you. Kin builds persistent context over time — your goals, your relationships, your patterns — and gets more useful the longer you use it. It's the difference between starting from scratch every session and picking up exactly where you left off.

Kin doesn't just answer questions. It sees what you can't. It remembers what you won't. And it's there when it matters.

I love this app. While there are many AI's that can do a lot they aren't the best at a certain thing. This app puts the focus of AI on therapy only. no getting sidetracked on spiraling down history on something unrelated. this has a spot for journal and a spot to chat. the journal helps guide you with insights. It was fully free for awhile now the basics are free but it's a small monthly or 3 months price that is much much less than one session with a therapist and you'll gain more insight here!

Really appreciate this! You nailed what we're going for - advisors focused on helping with life stuff (career, relationships, meaning, social life, wellbeing) without the tangent rabbit holes. Love that the journal insights are working for you. Thanks for getting what we're building here 🌟

I came into this skeptical, and have only been using it for 1 day (on the free trial). But thus far it has been surprisingly helpful. Simply having "someone" rephrase your deep challenges back at you and provide a framework for doing things a little differently, is motivating. Even that has reduced anxiety, in a very productive way.

Really glad it's helping, even just one day in. That reframing - hearing your challenges reflected back clearly - can be surprisingly powerful. Thanks for giving it a shot despite the skepticism. Hope it keeps being useful 🌟

I was loving this app in the beginning. I mean, Lā¤ļøVING IT!!! It was helping me organize and mind map out my ideas for an online business I was wanting to start. Going back to saved conversations was easy as could be to review, but one day about a week ago it just started freezing...it would open to a loading screen and just keep "loading". it would never open to where I could start a new conversation or access previous. Idk what went wrong but I've lost all my notes, and motivation.

Hi Brandy - thanks for the review, so sorry to hear about about the freeze. We did have an issue that affected some Android devices. It is fixed now, if you update the app, you should be able to access Kin again. Hope you will give it a try!
