Java Editor is a very simple Java editor, it can color the syntax nodes : nodes, attributes, properties, events, support autocompletion and search and replace. Opens the default files with the extensions : jav, java.
Requires Adobe Air (it's FREE) and Android 2.2 or later.
I can't run and save
How to run it?
Very very very good and very cool amd best java editor
I cant save and run my file
Please bdo not download it just a editor not compiler
Has a few fatal flaws #1 syntax hilighting is simplistic and barely useable. Lack of font choices is a problem too. Would be much more usable with a fiixed width font. #2 when i use my bluetooth keyboard, it won't accept any letters. No matter what key i press, i get a backspace.
Best Android IDE I absolutely love this app! It lets me write and edit Java code anywhere I go! The only thing that is missing is the java compiler, but that's easily fixed if you have a computer: just compile it at home. Other than that, this app is great! Edit: It's also missing the ability to close tabs.
Not practically useful I planned on using this as a text editor but it is extremely frustrating. The cursor bounces back to the very top if you are not extremely careful and you have to find your spot again. I planned on trying to work on projects while I'm waiting in line or on lunch break but it is not user friendly at all. Plus there is no way to enter a "tab" character. Kudos to the guys that took a stab at this app since it is the only one out there but not yet useful.
Note: This is not a compiler. For those who are complaining that their code isn't running, please remember that this isn't a compiler. The purpose of the app is to write your code on the go, then run it on your PC when you return to your office or home. In this sense, it served its purpose well.
