Review from Julian Heraz
Great and easy to use
Great app. Been using it for many years and gladly pay to support it. I can't understand why it's not more popular. It works well for emergency pee times during movies, but it also serves as a great reference to see if you need to sit through the end credits for extra scenes or not. Highly recommended.
I just found this app because it's also part of the AMC app, and this has got to be one of the most original, and best ideas for an app ever! I hate missing any of the movie, but love my extra large soda and don't want my bladder to explode. With this app I'll know when the non-critical scenes are so I can hold it with confidence.
Love, love, love RunPee! Not only does it give me a relaxing movie experience (since I don't have to worry if nature calls), but it also tells me when to stick around for extra scenes after the credits. I would happily pay $1 a month for an ad free version. (Just a thought.) As is, the app has completely changed my movie experience for the better. I check for the peetime cues before the movie starts, then settle in for the movie, knowing I have 1-3 times where ducking out of the theater will be OK. I then read the summary on my way out and back, usually arriving back in plenty of time. What a great idea! Thank you for your creativity in thinking of this, and the extensive work you do! 💙💚
For some, this app seems silly, but for people like me, it's vital to my movie experience. Not only do I know in advance when I can leave the theater, I can actually read about what's going on while I'm gone, and I can go to the movies with peace of mind. I don't have to worry through the whole movie about whether I should run to the bathroom or if I can make it to the end. I love this app with all of my heart. Customer service is great, I got an immediate and personal response to my email.
Giving one star just to get the attention of the developer. Your app deserves five stars. But what I hate is the app scrolls slowly. For eg if I open old movies for example released in 2013. After reading that movie. I return. It immediately starts scrolling from top to all the way down to that 2013 movie. Is this necessary? Why do I have to watch some automatic scrolling everytime? Fix it. I'll rate 5 stars.
Always been a super useful app. Gotta give the dev major props, he was very responsive to feedback (mine included) on the permissions issues that arose in late July 2017 and fixed things very quickly ... no more nasty permissions. As for the spoiled users who can't believe there are ads on this app ... do they think it's free to see all the movies the RunPee staff has to see to keep this app to date? C'mon! Just the TIME they invest in this app is worth an ad or two, or even a donation ... let alone the money they spend weekly at the movies. Highly recommend this for movie viewers ... the info about whether you should stay through the credits is icing on the cake.
REMOVES the permission requests added in the previous update for Phone State, GPS, etc.
