Great concept, needs refinement Great concept, fun to play with... but... there's some rough edges that need some work. Those are: 1) There's no UP vector, unless through random; 2) No ability to export what you create; 3) Recording is glitchy - needs loud sound to trigger actual recording (should just have a countdown and begin recording no matter what); 4) Moving shapes left or right doesn't make a very noticeable change in sound. Address those issues and it'll feel more like a finished product.
Little Boots Style vs pocket DJ Awesome idea! I read about it on WIRED and after seeing de video I thought i must try this and of course one the article they inform about not being able to record all the hard work and so one, but still this is amazing! Also have experience some trouble with sound recording, but that can be just because I'm trying this quite late in the night and I don't want to shout and wake up my kid, otherwise, gonna be up all night :D The other to star maybe after some cool updates! keep up with it.
Fun little app This is quite a pleasant little app to while away some time -- very simply to use, yet the results can be wildly fascinating. There are, however, a few things that I would like to see added in a future release: 1) Allow changing BPM. 2) Save creations for later recall/editing. 3) Allow loading of saved sounds, even from other apps. 4) On the fly recording of creations from within the app itself. 5) An "UP" control when editing vectors. 6) Filters or other sound manglers. :-) All in all, it is a solid little app that should give musique concrete lovers a lot of fun.
Sadly doesnt work Doesnt record sound but i love the concept so i give it 5 stars ***** maybe fix it? My phone is Guru G1
Fun but needs polish This is a lot of fun to play with but if I could save beats for later (instead of using a line-in) it would be much more convenient. Some other reviewers have made good suggestions as well. If more features are introduced I'd definitely come back and add more stars.
Does not work at all, even with full deafening volume of keyboard. I kept the Mike touching the speakers if that's not enough to record idk what is
