Very very cool! I loved how eerie the plot was! I especially appreciate the hint option for when you're really stuck. The game is so out there that sometimes you need reassurance you're looking in the right direction. I downloaded all the other Rusty Lake games right after finishing this one!
I particularly enjoyed this. I can never quite understand the bigger storyline, but each chapter makes me want to go back a put some pieces together. The series is so well created for casual gameplay and for those who enjoy a bigger mystery. The Cave has some good unique puzzles, and perhaps they are throwing in a bit of Plato to boot. Deep stuff.
Wonderful twisted game with puzzles that make you think but aren't impossible. If you get stuck, recheck every little thing multiple times and click everywhere. The more you explore and recheck the more fun creepy things you'll find. Love the art style, music, and mood. The Rusty Lake games you have to pay to play are worth the money. Can't wait for the next game to come out!
Another stellar game from Rusty Lake -- up there with The Mill, Seasons, and Case 23. Roots didn't give you much to figure out, but The Cave is a glorious return to form. I enjoyed fumbling about trying to figure out my next move. Consistently some of the best games in the Play Store.
Sadly, I've encountered a bug prohibiting me to play further. The tentacles showing after I entered 'ink' in the submarine have disappeared before I could fill my ink bottle and I can't make them reappear :-( But I still loved the game up to this point!
Love the short story that is told, very interesting concept and makes me want to try more games by this developer. Liked that there was the option of hints, so you can't get stuck on something for too long. The weird logic that you have to use to solve the puzzles keeps you addicted to the game and makes you think new weird and wonderful ways. Love that there is no instructions as this forces you to think things through in-depth. Looking forward to playing the following games in this story.
