A brilliant and faithful port and upgrade of the infectonator game I use to play as a kid (including the reporter). Of course there are micro transactions but it's free and you don't need them, they're just shortcuts and bonuses if you don't have the time to grind. Gameplay can get repetitive, definitely a game you play for 30 mins or so at a time. Lastly a small criticism, sometimes the speech bubbles can get in the way when your looking for a good place to infect. Overall, a great game that I would definitely pay for.
You can't post high scores. Phpht. However, I am pleased to play a mobile version of one of the better Kongregate games. They're crazy to think people will replay this game multuple times to ujnlock a few extra supports and zombies.
Zombie AI is kinda stupid. They just get stuck in a corner. Upgrading speed doesn't seem to make them any faster. Place mines and you lose them if there are no zombies left. Game should wait until a human walks over it, otherwise it's a waste. Meh... this game could definitely be better with some intuitive improvements.
The bosses in the early game of endless infection are far too powerful. I've been able to get up to wave 44 or something but find myself usually unable to get past the first boss and end up having to give up as it's not economic to retry.
Made me lol on several occasions. Love this old school retro throw back. Gold coins and all. No aggressive freemium game/money grab, the developers deserve 5 stars and more, thanks for doing a game right.
This game was fun until it deleted all my upgrades and items. I had maybe 2/3 of the cities destroyed, so starting with all my stats at 0 with only the more difficult cities left have made this game worthless.
minor quality of life improvements.
