Only for healthy strong heart rates.too bad Doesn't work at all for ortho static heart rates, sinus tach, Brady tach or SVT. If you have a strong steady heart rate this is your app but then again why would you need to check your heart rate so often unless your hypochondriac. I want my money back.
Works Perfect As a paramedic and medical professional, with a heart condition of my own - this little app constantly surprises me. While on call we responded to 911 of a little girl suffering from heat stroke. Exhausted from a 14 hour shift, I grabbed my phone and took her pulse with this app. Me and math don't go well when I'm tired and it was what I had on me right then - my phone. My skeptical partner took her pulse manually and was shocked to see it matched up perfectly with my phone. Love this app.
Easy to use Convenient, helpful and useful info for the fit life.
Great app I use this app to monitor my sinus tachycardia and find it useful in keeping a log of my bpm to keep track of it. It consistently takes a correct reading, as I have taken it by hand afterwards to find it spot on. Only problem is sometimes the app freezes and I have to exit and restart. But other than that A+++
Best of breed This app is very accurate, especially if you set it to 30 second measurements. I often take my pulse manually and it is usually within 2bpm. It also has the best graphing ability, allowing a graph of up to a year on your phone, rather than requiring website access and a monthly fee like a competitor does.
Flashlight does not work The app works fine, but for some reason it does not use the flashlight on my phone. Therefore it always complains about poor lighting conditions. Any suggestions?
