IMPORTANT! ABOUT RESOLUTION OF MEASURES:
Because of the resolution of the light sensor of some devices like Samsung Galaxy S2, in some devices the app will only give measures with a resolution of 10^n lux ( 10 lux, 100 lux, 1.000 lux...) or other kind of scale. It´s not a bug of the app, it´s due to the resolution of the sensor of these devices.
You should also keep in mind that this software shows the measures given by the device and so, if the device sensor doesn´t give good quality measures (it happens in some devices), this software won´t either give good quality measures. Please do not vote negative in that cases.

This app requires devices with a light sensor. It uses native light sensor data acquisition that gives accurate and instant light intensity reading. This type of native data acquisition is available only for:
■ HTC (Hero, Magic, MyTouch, Legend, Desire, Wildfire etc.)
■ Samsung (SGS, SGS2, SGS3, SGS4, Vibrant, Epic, Captivate, Fascinate, SGTab, Note, Note2 etc.)
■ Sony Ericsson (SE X8i, X10, XT etc.)
■ Asus (EeePad, Transformer etc.)
Other devices are also supported by the built-in compatibility mode but the accuracy and the speed of light intensity reading may be limited and custom calibration is required for correct reading under compatibility mode.
Also, on some devices the light sensor may not be linear, not continuous and measuring errors will occur or the maximum measuring range may be limited. This is not app's fault.
Compared to a sekonic professional exposimeter the error is about to 4-11 lx.
N.B. DON'T LEAVE NEGATIVE VALUTATIONS JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR DEVICE DOESN'T HAVE LIGHT SENSOR PLEASE!!!!

This app is used to measure the amount of light. It is very simple and it does not do more than what it's supposed to be.
The Accuracy of the light meter depends on your device.
This application can be used as a decibel meter or sound meter to gain the loudness of the environment together with precise user experience and color indicator. It is a very light weight and small size application with the least resources used and simplest yet effective user interface that is colourful and tells users precisely the surrounding noise and useful in detecting loud voice and loud sound.
You can use this to measure a dog bark noise level, measure snoring sound noise level or even test how loud is your voice level or how loud when someone speak to calibrate your voice and noise intensity to deliver a better and more comfortable sound level to people and useful when you are practising for presentation. It maximises the best out of the microphone of your smart devices and since it is calibrated to cater for human voice, it has limitation to detect very loud noise but it is sufficient enough for daily and normal usage.
Performance limitations will vary by device. Move your hand around your device and look for a sharp drop in LUX to locate the sensor.
With the "Light meter Luxma" you can:
1. Measure the illuminance on the optical axis of one light source.
2. To calculate the theoretical values:
- luminous flux(for light sources with a cosine diagram intensity),
- the distance to the light source,
- the illuminance.
The program uses a linear correction values coming from the light sensor.
The program implemented two methods of calibration:
1. With the light meter.
2 . Method of calculation (For light sources with a cosine diagram intensity).
Calculator is designed only for light sources with a cosine graph of intensity.
Attention! Accuracy depends on your light measurement unit not on the App! It might happen that the measured values range from low to quite high.
