About this game

I, Detective is a game of deduction and logic where you become a detective to solve puzzling criminal cases. Examine clues, question suspects and use your reasoning to find the truth.
The game has three cases, each with a unique plot. In "Theft of the Scarlet Diamond", a jewel of immense value disappears from the Grandiose Museum when the lights go out. Everyone present is a suspect: the organizer, a resentful former guard, a gemologist, an obsessed collector and a waiter with ulterior motives. In "Sabotage of the Miraculous Must", during a tasting of an exclusive and rich must at the Viña Dorada winery, it is discovered that the bottle has been replaced with an ordinary liquid. The master of ceremonies, a critic, the owner, an investor and an assistant all have reasons to be suspicious. In "The Abduction of the Invisible Author," the mysterious writer Hugo del Valle disappears at a literary festival before his big revelation, leaving behind signs of struggle and an enigmatic message.
Each case has multiple clues, conflicting testimonies and different endings, depending on your decisions. The key lies in your ability to observe and deduce.
The game offers three modes. Story mode allows you to follow the narrative of each case sequentially, exploring scenarios and collecting evidence, with a non-linear development and multiple resolutions. Challenge mode presents time-limited cases, ideal for those who want to test their mental agility. Cooperative mode allows two or more players to help solve mysteries, sharing information and discussing strategies.
All text, dialogue, narration and interfaces are in pure Basque, making the game a tool for practicing and enriching vocabulary in a natural and fun way. The story can be read and listened to, making it accessible to people with different levels of language proficiency.
I, Detective promotes critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making. Its inclusive design presents diverse and balanced characters, free from gender stereotypes, providing a safe space for players of all ages.
