Ratings and reviews

It's nice to see this game make some interesting changes to classic minesweeper. Taking off one star because the numbers on the minefield are a little hard for me to read unfortunately. They're too small and similar-looking and it makes it harder to quickly scan the board. If the font/size of the numbers could be adjusted, that'd be great. The open/closed squares also look too similar. Little visual things like this reduce clarity and overall look and feel of the app.

Great take on Minesweeper: unique board shapes and gameplay modes, items, and you can guess to end a level. However, some level shapes require too much guessing, the hexagonal boards are inferior and can't always be skipped, and even paying expert players have to grind through hours of braindead easy puzzles to reach the juicy stuff. Without those three issues this would be an easy 5 stars. (Also, the boss timer is way overtuned.)

Solid! Lots to like here. Square and hex grid puzzles. Loads and loads and loads of interesting grid shapes. Lots of work has been put into the controls. (Protip - you can tap or hold on revealed numbers to clear/flag all surrounding blocks where the values match.) Reliably keeps progress on closure. Just looks nice. I have countless hours in this, and plenty of game ahead. Got to be 5 stars, really!
