Really impressed A brilliant sketching and painting app. I use this with a stylus, and its the closest thing I've found to actual drawing, especially when replicating inks. It has replaced Markers as my quick sketchbook of choice. And it has layers! Those forward and back buttons seriously need shrinking though. The interface as a whole feels a bit big on a tablet. Feels like it was built for a phone. Can't wait to see how this app develops though. Please PLEASE make the UI smaller! Its far too easy to accident hit buttons, and if you need to start a line below a button, you have no way to do it. Also, I still have a random grey bar on my screen.
Worthless, totally totally worthless Don't waste your time or your money. App comes right up and then...? Nothing but tap, tap, tapping away, trying to open something, trying to start something. Nothing. Oh, yeah, almost forgot - it allows you to give a title to the project you will never be able to create! Wow... this = nothing. Reminds me of some little kid's D+ 6th grader programming project.
This is a fun ap I enjoy it as if I am playing a game. I may surprise myself with a finished piece of art. Like all these kind of programmes, I can never quite work out what to do with those wonderful layers. I have one of the smaller tablets, nice and handy, but I Imagine it would not be as much fun on something smaller.
Lost art? Loved this app at first, but it would freeze when I would go to reopen the app. I contacted the developer about my issue, and he responded in a couple of days with a solution. I thought great, end of my problems. ... bigger issue. Lost art, images gone, sketches worked out with client gone! !! Not ok. I have contacted the developer again about this new issue, he has failed to respond in the reasonable time given. I am ready for a refund!
Good, but basic!... Good, but basic. Needs a lot more features like layer manipulation. This app was last updated in 2013, so you can see how outdated this app is now...
This is a sloppily designed app, in many ways. It consistently crashes, displaying a "fatal error: the application has lost the device context" message on a grey screen if you put the app in the background (running T-Mobile Note 3 ). If you answer a text, change apps for a bit, or let your phone sleep for a few seconds, the app will be crashed when you return to it. Of course, you lose your work, unless you have saved. It has auto-save, but I have no idea what activates it or of the intervals at which it saves. It seems you have to save once before auto-save is activated, but I can't be sure. The app has no settings to be found, other than the in app brush settings. But, it doesn't even seem to retain brush settings, either. The app has 5 brushes and an eraser with at least two adjustable sliders each (a couple with 3) and they all seem to be reset every time I reopen the app. Hitting the BACK button accidentally will close the app suddenly, without warning and you lose your work. There is also a toggle interface icon that gets in the way of your drawing because of its location. Worst of all, the Dev. has vacated the project for over a year now. Won't even make these simple fixes.
- Hide the brushes and options when opening a drawing to avoid conflicts.
- Fixed the issue with the grey bar, the canvas should take the whole screen.
