I've never actively played a game for so long. I'm not even a big gamer. My son taught me how to play Polytopia years ago and it's my favorite game to return to when I have some free time to kill or need to reset my focus and unwind at the end of the day. Game play is relatively simple and easy to learn while remaining dynamic and fun. The developers do an excellent job to keep the game balanced, updated and evolving. Would love larger map networks and cooperative game modes for teamwork. 🩷

I'm playing solo only and it's good for a few days. Pretty simplistic as there's no campaign and only One skill tree that you can learn in a single game. Units are "kind of" rock-paper-scissors(range vs. speed vs. strength). Money to unlock different factions, which only have some different quirks, which is a good business model, imo. Once you've beaten the AI, there's nothing else to do, but it's fun while you're going, and you can come back and start a new game when just bored.

Luv this game. Keeps my old brain active. I have worked my way thru different games, maps, levels, tribes, and difficulties. More maps would be fun. Larger maps with more tribes(12+) would even out the odds. I am currently working my way thru the tribes, on continents, vs 12 tribes trying to achieve a 95% score. This is a good challenge. My biggest complaint is how the battle skills is scored. It does not account the number of cities taken. Simple but A+. Wish I could install on my fire tablet.
