Really? Something's wrong with this randomizer. There's no way I could roll 56 consecutive d6 IRL and not hit a single six. The AI has no trouble though.... Aside from that, I'd like the game to hold onto info better (player name, game progress). Not a bad port overall and does the job of teaching the game OK.
Bad I have to roll a 6 on a 6 sided die to defeat every monster? something is wrong here. Sure hope the board have isn't this bad. Wish I could have gotten a refund.
Too basic Technically it's fine (UI / controls too). Gameplay: meh. There's no real loot, no sense of gradually becoming stronger. More importantly: no sense of adventure! :( You get gold for killing monsters and you can use it to reqruit / upgrade party members, but that doesn't do anything apart from adding dice. So no swords, bows or spells for 'roll +1' or 'reroll', no armor, nothing like that. I don't mind luck based games, but I do regret buying this one. For a 'lucky' adventure check 'Elders Signs Omen' first!
Would not install or move to SD card It installs to internal system memory and cannot be moved to an external SD memory. Even Force2SD could not move it to a SD card. I hate when a non-system app is taking up my precious system memory. Otherwise, it is a good single-player tabletop game, well-produced with a streamlined interface that is user-friendly and easy-on-the-eye. Its "multiplayer" mode is an useless offline "hot seat" mode. Seriously, who would even want to pass around a phone or tablet and take turn to play a mobile game?? I suppose the game developer did not want to undercut their own board game: if this inexpensive app included everything, then no one would want to pay $20 to buy the actual board game.
Great app version of a tabletop game If you love quick tabletop games that are in the 1 to 4 player bracket, this app should be right up your alley. It's quick and easy to pick up but would take some time to master, so it's easy to see player's coming back for more. With a definite slant towards the board-game crowd, the controls may feel odd to someone without that background, but I personally had no issues figuring out how to move around the user interface. All in all, it's worth the price if you like something more strategic and want the feel of a tabletop game that's mobile.
Wow! Impressive! At first glance, this game didn't look so great. Boy, I was so wrong. This is really fun, funny, and interesting. I'd like to see more animation. I'm gonna buy this boardgame ASAP.
