About this app

Welcome to the Beecraft Magazine Digital Edition. We hope you enjoy the magazine in this new and exciting format. Despite being one of the World's longest running beekeeping magazines we are keen to modernise and keep offering you, the readers, the best and most informed beekeeping news and information.

In 1919 Kent Beekeepers launched "Bee Craft" as a county beekeeping journal and by 1928 thirteen Associations had joined, keen to distribute news and information about their own beekeeping exploits. Today there are 49 Local Associations in the UK that have shareholdings in Beecraft Ltd and it has, in practice, been run as a non-profit making organisation for the benefit of the member associations.

Therefore we hope you enjoy this format of the magazine and continue to support Beecraft as it positions itself as the informed voice of British Beekeeping.

Once you buy a subscription to Bee Craft, Currently £16.60 a year, this app is a great way to read the monthly issues that are delivered automatically to your app. The interface is clear and simple, and makes reading the magazines easy. It works on my phones, kindle and hudl. Single issues are now £2.99, so if you like what you see an annual sub is a great way to go. The magazine itself has some very interesting articles, that are written in a down to earth way, making them accessible to everyone interested in Beekeeping, there's even a double page spread just for children, which my daughter loves reading.

Well the BeeCraft app is finally here - and first impressions are good... I have the option to download my subscribed issues and a few back issues from when my subscription lapsed... (currently 1.99 per issue) The search function, whilst simple is very effective and combined with the thumbnail and bookmark views - it makes finding pages a breeze. Add to this highlighting and adding notes - I don't need to deface my actual magazine any more :) All in all - a good app for reading your favourite Beekeeping mag...
