It was fun and immersive. BUT you honestly only have one date option. When I went to do like a second play through for Colin the game would say Marc and I broke up even though we never dated. And the same thing happpened at the end. He wanted us to get back together even though we never dated. So that made me not like it.
Had Potential. After the third chapter, almost every single piece of dialogue had something cringy in it. I kept telling myself that this is not how people talk in real life. The choices you make are also inconsequential by the end as you change nothing about the story. Not that there are any choices to begin with. It just sort of feels like a graphic novel. Another really stupid thing that the devs did was to get into politics. That was the dumbest thing they could possibly do. It went from being nice to being garbage.
Don't shove your political veiws down my throat, I wanted to play this game because I thought it looked interesting. I didn't want to play a dating sim that has politics in it. As soon as I saw "Not my president", I wanted to cringe.
Everything about this game was utterly amazing! The characters were relatable. The storyline was funny, intense, mysterious, tear jerking and there were moments i hated certain characters but later fell in love with them. The special episode was amazing and had me in tears. The links provided afterwards were super intuitive was i myself am a trans woman. I really hope we will see Nora, Colin, Abby, Hannifer, Turkey Hawk and Marcel in more installments of this series. Say, perhaps...highschool(s)?! Spread love not hate!
I love this game so much I have bought every episode happily. My only problem is my relationship with Abby didn't continue into episode 6. Can't wait for episode 7. Try and fix the relationships not caring over.
A shiny propaganda game. What the hell were they thinking using the LGBTQ+ as a way to spread your message. I don't care if you hate Trump, I think It's wrong to make a game so that you can spread your message. Sick.
At LongStory we work incredibly hard to make a game that revolves around inclusivity, positivity and love for everyone.
This update includes a brand new totally FREE mini-episode. Things are happening in the world these days that ask us to examine what prejudices we may hold, and what having Canadian values really means. LongStory is here for that conversation and we hope our special episode Sign of The Times, offers some love and compassion in tough times.
