They essentially bricked my camera. The old app worked great until they send out the kill code and told us to use this one. I installed it, used the same settings as before, and it states the credentials are incorrect. Tried a reset of the device and nothing. This is a form of forced upgrading that most cannot afford. Device is essentially a paperweight (aka A BRICK). Sad and pathetic!
Works perfectly with NVR401..if you have an understanding of IP assignment. Trendnet support first class too.
Doesn't work with NVR trendnet family !! Only computer browsers can support video plugin. In 2017, everyone want to connect such systems remotely and on "on the move" ! Thus, when you access directly to IP cameras, it's unstable. Sometimes it works, sometimes you obtain error messages. Due to the cost of trendnet equipments it's abnormal. It's a pity because equipments are not so bad except that cameras doesn't support HTTPS access.
Most features used to work until the nvr firmware update. Now everything is disconnected. Really wish someone would offer solutions to all the redundant problems in these reviews.
Doesn't work Doesn't work with TV-NVR104. It will find the device and login ok, but never loads video. Even with updated nvr firmware. Epic fail
I have cloud trendnet camera which has app that is updated last time in 2014 and it crashes all the time. I contacted support and they told me to use their new app which is this onre. I installed it and it cannot detect my clous camera at all and finally i was told that they are sorry and this app does not work with their cloud cameras and they dont know when they will update the other app. Very disappointed, no resposne or solution until today. Also to mention that the app on their website is not secured, their ssl is expired and they still dont do anything about it after I told them that.
