I was unsure if I could keep up, but I have! I am a middle aged female, fairly sedentary, but I am able to do nearly 50 push-ups in one set and 175 in a workout in the 5th week. My arms are toned, but I have not grown put of my tops . Try it!
I have had this app for some time. Make sure you dont overstate the ability of reps u can do or else it will become too difficult. Start from the bottom and climb your way up. I already see definition and tone in my arms. U should accompany this with a good diet and an exercise regimen aside from this.
I wish it went along with the website a little more. The number of reps they have you do are different from the charts on the website. And there is no explanation as to how it works. It took me a little while to figure it out.
Spent more time on trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing with the app than actually doing push-ups. Confusing and unhelpful. Went back to using a note pad and watch.
This app is okay. For me, trying to do more every time is not the optimum way to getting stronger. On the contrary, I believe that is the path to injury. I believe it would be better to mix it up, sometimes doing more, sometimes doing less, plus adequate recovery in between reps and days. I don't know if this app allows this or just makes try to do more push-ups every single time, which is stupid because you'll eventually get injured.
I had done it before 2 year ago. I make a new challenge again and re install everything same as previous and as I expected.
