Review from Aldaugh
Looks nice.. I really like the interface, and the presentation of the app. However, equalizer support does not work at all with my Samsung galaxy s captivate running slimbean, which should be android 4.2.1. If that gets fixed, that'd be awesome, and maybe 10 bands on the equalizer? Gonna keep a close eye on this one.
Great player Everything I need and nothing more. Simple, intuitive interface. Just enough customization without being overwhelming. Giving 4 starts because why have the ability to whitelist folders but not blacklist? I have a folder with mp3 ringtones that shows up as unknown artist after having blacklisted each song. So, it's just an empty folder sitting in my library list. Please add the option to blacklist folders.
Lag/freeze on launch Used to work fine, but I recently got a 128GB SD card and I put over 60GB (Over 13K files) of music on it. Now whenever I launch shuttle it takes a out 1-4 minutes to come up completely and be usable. Loved the app, but either I cut back or I drop the app. And the N7player works fine, so...
Works great... When it works Freezes A LOT. Every time I want to change albums it goes full retard and I have to restart it to choose a different album. Music still plays, GUI freaks out and becomes unresponsive. I've used it for over a year with no complaints, this seems to be a recent problem. I switched to google music player. I hate it, the UI is awful, but it actually works !
F!@#ing perfection. Perfectly fits in with Material Design standards, perfectly sorts music, perfect dark theme, perfect performance. Finally an actually GOOD music app. No more apps that were designed for Android 2.1 and then just got crappy reskins as the years went by.
Best music player Nice desing, good, features. Does what it is supposed to do while looking good. There are only two things i can brag about: there is no to treble boost slider (which only exists in poweramp so far though and makes things sound crispier than using the normal equalizer). Secondly, it doesn't display any albums covers (it shows a really low quality ugly picture, running android N on a Nexus 6P but has also existed on android M)
Almost perfect I love the customization available for the app itself as well as the widgets. it does everything I could ask for except one thing. I break earbuds often, so when one loses half of it's sound I become incredibly frustrated. other applications have a way to balance between left and right earbud volume. this app lacks that, but other than this issue, it is the best music player on the store (I also bought the full version)
